How to apply for an MVV, if you plan to work in the Netherlands as an employee?


You can start the procedure for an MVV in 2 different ways:

Documents required if you apply MVV-Work at NTIO (only under certian accepted conditions):

  •  

      1. One MVV Application form (original and photocopy) with 1 passport sized photo on a white background taken recently. 
         
      2. Original and photocopy of your passport; must be valid for at least three months after the expiry date of your MVV.
         
      3. An Employ Contract (mentioning the gross annual salary).
         
      4. Work Permit (Tewerkstellingsvergunning, TWV) Your employer must apply to the CWI (Centre for Work and Income, address: PO BOX 883, 2700 AW Zoetermeer, tel: 079 371 2903, website: https://www.werk.nl) for a work permit on your behalf, and you have to submit the Work Permit Approval to NTIO after you get approval.
         
      5. Additional Family members need -
        Item 1 and 2 above for each applicant, plus:
        A. Spouse: Marriage Certificate (the English translation must be authenticated by a Notary and be legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, R.O.C.; then NTIO' stamp). See Legalization of Documents.

        * The Netherlands Authorities always have the option to request other information from the applicant and or to refer the application to the Competent Authorities in the Netherlands.
