The Netherlands Antilles (Curacao, Saba, St. Eustacius, St. Maarten, Bonaire) and Aruba have their own admissions policies, which are not the same as that of the Netherlands.
Taiwan nationals who wish to visit the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba, require a visa.
 

How to apply a Visa for the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba?


  1. Duly completed application form.
  2. One color passport sized photo on white background, taken recently.
  3. Original and photocopy of passport; must be valid throughout period of intended stay.
  4. Photocopy of Taiwan I/D Card or ARC (for foreigners).
  5. Other evidence:
    - Invitation for business trip.
    - Hotel and Flight reservations.
  6. The visa fee is payable at the time of application and is non-refundable. Visa fee is changed based on the NT$- EURO rate.
  7. Proceeding: 4 weeks for the Netherlands Antilles Visa.
                       4 Weeks for Aruba Visa.
  8. Visa type and validity: Tourist/Business visa for short stay not longer than 30 days.
  9. The foregoing is not an exhaustive list, each applicant may be asked to provide additional proof.
  10. Transit without Visa (TWOV):
    NETHERLANDS ANTILLES:
    Taiwan people continue to a third country within 48 hours by the same means of transportation and hold tickets with reserved seats and documents for their onward journey.  In principle, they are allowed to leave the airport.  
    ARUBA:
    Taiwan people continue to a third country within the same day by same aircraft and holding:
    - tickets with reserved seats; and
    - all documents required for onward journey. 
    Leaving the airport and overnight is not allowed.
    Taiwan people travel on cruise-ship, are allowed to land without visa for max. 24 hours.
    The crew members of vessels or aircrafts mooring or landing in Aruba for commercial purpose,
    are exempt from the visa requirement for a period of admission of up to 48 hours.
  11. Visa exempted for NETHERLANDS ANTILLES:
    1.  holders of a valid residence permit for the United States, Canada or the Schengen area;
    2.  holders of British passports, Hong Kong (SAR China) passports;
    3.  holder of a valid residence permit for Aruba for more than six months.
  12. Visa exempted for ARUBA:
    Children under twelve years of age, if they are traveling with a parent or guardian.
    Holders of a valid residence permit (temporary or permanent) from:
    - another part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands;
    - the United States of America;
    - Canada;
    - The Schengen Territory;
    - United Kingdom;
